Veteran MMA play-by-play announcer Sean Wheelock and color commentator Jimmy Smith will serve as the new broadcast team for Bellator Fighting Championships, organization officials today announced.
The duo will call the action for the organization’s live FOX Sports Net broadcasts as well as its highlights shows on NBC and Telemundo in this year’s second and third seasons.
Bellator officials also confirmed season-one broadcasters George X and Manny Rodriguez will return for Spanish broadcasts, and Michael C. Williams will serve as announcer/master of ceremonies at all live shows.
