If you’re a DirecTV customer, you’ve grown accustomed to missing out on MMA action after the Versus Network debacle. It appears this weekend will be no different, as the powerhouse satellite provider has decided not to carry both the Shark Fights and Shine Fights pay-per-view events going down this weekend.

At first it was believed that DirecTV, the exclusive carrier of NFL Sunday Ticket, would at least be broadcasting the Shine Fights promotion on Friday evening, but a late change in venue caused the television provider to re-think their plans.

“We pulled it off the schedule given the possibility that the event may be canceled based on the last-minute venue change and we do not want to put our customers in the position having to get refunds,” DirecTV told MMAFighting.com.

The promotion recently sent out a press release announcing they would be moving their scheduled show in Virginia to a tribal reservation in Oklahoma.

Oddly enough, DirecTV never even planned to offer Saturday’s Shark Fights 13 show, which features a slew of former UFC fighters. The event will mark Keith Jardine’s first scrap outside the Octagon since appearing on the original season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series many years ago.

Sherdog.com will be streaming all the Shark Fights 13 under card bouts live, but you’ll have to find your own way to watch the PPV broadcast.
