Houston Alexander applying for NSAC license, meeting Kimbo at TUF 10 Finale?

In a move that could strengthen the case for his rumored fight against Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, Houston Alexander will soon apply for a fighter license with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Ferguson was knocked out of the first round of “The Ultimate Fighter 10,” which is currently airing on Spike TV, by Roy Nelson in episode No. 3.

Some reports suggested Ferguson (3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) would fight Alexander (9-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) at UFC 107 in Tennessee, but MMAjunkie.com reported earlier this month that Ferguson is instead expected to compete at the TUF 10 Finale a week prior.
