Strikeforce is turning to a veteran MMA fighter to headline the next installment of its prospects-driven Challengers event series.
The promotion today announced that Oregon-based fighter Matt Lindland has been tapped to headline Strikeforce Challengers 8 at Portland’s Rose Garden.
An opponent has not been named for Lindland, who joins a Showtime-televised main card that includes Tyron Woodley vs. Nathan Coy and Kerry Vera vs. Julianna Pena.
