Despite the fearsome striking attack that Lithuanian slugger Marius Zaromskis brought to the cage with submission ace Nick Diaz,
it was the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu product that utilized a stand-up
strategy en route to capturing Strikeforce’s vacant welterweight title.
The bout capped off an action-packed night of fights at
Saturday night’s “Strikeforce: Miami” event at the BankAtlantic Center
in Sunrise, Fla.
